Born in Germany and raised in Portland, Oregon, SUNIDAIZ has always had music woven into her life. Classically trained on the viola since fifth grade, her foundation in music began long before she ever stepped behind the decks. After spending a few years exploring different paths, She found DJing. SUNIDAIZ quickly discovered a new way to express her love for music and after two years behind the decks, she brings her musical background, vibrant energy, and love for connection into every set. Her sound moves through Jersey Club, Baile Funk, UKG, and Drum & Bass, with sets that are high-energy, rhythmic, and full of personality. SUNIDAIZ has opened for Sonny Fodera, SIDEPIECE, and BUNT. She has played at Realm and other local clubs and bars throughout Portland. At the heart of SUNIDAIZ there is one simple goal: spreading sunshine wherever the music takes her. Her energy is rooted in creating spaces where people can let loose, feel connected, and leave with a little more light than they came with. With a background in classical music and a sound rooted in dance culture, SUNIDAIZ is bringing her own blend of musicality, movement, and sunshine to Portland’s evolving music scene one set at a time.
